Week 6
Educational TVs are very important in the academic world and this week we learned about the new types of emerging technology. Ipods and other types of technology are very important when it comes to making sure our new generation of children are ready to embark on what is out there. I think the discussion was great and a learning experience.

Yes, TV is certainly one of the better media tools. The people who do the programs are really professional and highly talented. It pays to record many of the educational programs and save them for use. I share your views on educating our children and what we're learning here.

Our area's EdTV (now called ITV) hub is very helpful in sending out notices of what programs are soon to be aired. We receive a yearly catalog of programming, but most teachers forget to check it. Receiving emails from ITV weekly helps teachers include programs that work with their curriculum.
